FRED TEAMS UP WITH PROSTATE CANCER UK TO PRODUCE LIMITED EDITION T-SHIRT
Sporting legends Freddie Flintoff, Robbie Savage and Shaun Goater have teamed up with Prostate Cancer UK and menswear retailer, Jacamo to produce a limited-edition charity t-shirt, which goes on sale today, with 100% of all profit going to the charity.
In the UK, one in eight men will get prostate cancer at some point in their life and this partnership aims to raise awareness and encourage more men to be aware of their risk of prostate cancer as well as raising money to help research into better diagnosis, better treatment and support for men.
At just £15, the smart and comfortable t-shirt comes with discreet signature detail from the ex-sporting trio printed on the sleeve, and is available online and in store at Jacamo in a full range of sizes from small to 5XL, in regular and long lengths, and colours blue, black and grey.
Freddie commented: “Being able to lend our support to such a worthwhile cause is great. I’ve been wearing my top to the gym quite a lot and hope that others will go online or instore to get their own and show their support.
He added: “If we can help to raise money, and also get more men talking about Prostate Cancer and being aware of the risks and symptoms, then all the better”.
James Beeby, Director of Fundraising at Prostate Cancer UK, said: “Having Freddie, Robbie and Shaun collaborate with us on the t-shirts has been great. We want to make as many men as possible aware of their risk of prostate cancer and encourage them to take responsibility for their health. Prostate Cancer UK have a strategy to tame prostate cancer in 10 years and stop the disease being a killer. We thank the guys and Jacamo for helping us in our efforts to beat this disease and hope everyone buys a t-shirt to show their support.”
